How can I purchase PATEL wines?

Our limited production of PATEL wines are sold to our mailing list, fine wine retailers and selected restaurants. Our mailing list continues to grow by word of mouth endorsements from our loyal clients. We first offer our wines to those who have purchased in the past (priority list). Just to be fair, in an effort to give those on our general mailing list an opportunity to purchase our wine, clients who do not purchase after a few offerings are moved back to the general mailing list.

If I sign up for the waiting list today when
can I expect to get onto the mailing list?

We make our wine available first to current clients who have purchased the past. If we have wine available after our release we open the offering to all on the mailing, this is an opportunity to purchase a few bottles of wine on first come basis.

When do offers for the new vintage go out?

We will release our 2008 Red Wine for sale in February 2011 and 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon in October. Mailing List clients can log on to our secure website, to purchase assigned allocations.

When does the wine ship?

The Red Wine is shipped in late Spring, the Cabernet Sauvignon in late Autumn.

How is the wine shipped?

We only ship wine on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure it arrives at your doorstep within the work week. Your order may be placed on a "weather hold" if the weather conditions are not conducive to shipping wine. If you provide us with your email, you will be notified when the wine leaves the warehouse.

For orders shipping to CA, OR, NV & WA orders are shipped via Ground and arrive in one to two days. All other states are shipped via 3-Day Economy, 2-Day, or Overnight to ensure the wines get to you safely. Clients are notified via email with tracking numbers.

Do you have original wooden cases (OWC)
for your wine?

We offer wood cases for all 6-bottle orders, 3-bottle orders of our Cabernet Sauvignon.  All other wine orders are shipped in polystyrene boxes, as we have found through experience, it best delivers our wine without breakage or damage to the bottles. We continually evaluate new packaging as it comes onto the market, especially more environmentally sustainable alternatives. But we regret that, to date, none have passed our shipping trials.
