Returns & Cancellations
PATEL Napa Valley is committed to the production of high-quality handcrafted wines and your satisfaction is our goal. Please inspect all packages as soon as they are received.
Should any bottle(s) be broken during shipping, please email us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 707.812.1616 within 48 hours of receipt of your package(s), so that we can pursue a claim with the shipping company. We will arrange to have the wine picked up in most cases. Please keep the original package and its contents exactly as you found them if at all possible. Understand that if the broken product cannot be retrieved, we cannot receive compensation for the loss. Returns cannot be processed after 10 days.
We will replace or provide a refund for any returned bottle of wine that is corked, flawed or that the customer finds unsatisfactory. We ask the customer to return the unfinished portion of the original bottle, along with the cork, for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is flawed. Please send an email to email@example.com to arrange for the return of defective product. Wine should not be returned without prior approval from PATEL Napa Valley.
Replacements & Refunds
Any return claim due to a defect in the product will be addressed on a case-by-case basis, and a replacement bottle may be offered if one is available or, if that particular wine is no longer available, another wine may be substituted. Any refund issued for transit-damaged or flawed product will also include shipping and handling charges.
We are unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error. All PATEL Napa Valley wines are stored in a temperature-controlled environment and are in excellent condition upon leaving the fulfillment center. Temperature extremes could pose a threat to the overall quality of the wine and we utilize the best quality shipping companies available. We do our best to monitor the weather and will delay shipping in known extremes of temperature whenever possible. However, we cannot assume liability for wines that are overheated (leaking), or frozen if weather changes occur during transit.
Orders that are shipped and refused by the customer or returned by the shipping company as “unable to deliver” will be credited the cost of the product minus the charges for the original AND return shipment. A 25% restocking fee will also be applied to all canceled or refused and returned orders, unless the original order is deemed to be the result of an error on the part of PATEL Napa Valley.
