An elegant wine with aromatics of sweet white flowers, this expression of Sauvignon Blanc is powerful, and anything but typical, seductive blend of herbs, ripe white peach, and a touch of pineapple.
A rich, powerful wine, super-ripe black cherry, torrefaction, new French oak, chocolate, smoke, licorice, tobacco, and balance is simply impeccable.

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon (Rutherford) from Georges III, is beautiful. Radiant and supple, with striking aromatic presence, the 2015 is all about polish. Bright red cherry and plum fruit, along with soft curves, give the wine much of its sensuality and pure appeal. More importantly, the 2015 has preserved quite a bit of freshness. This is an especially refined wine for Georges III.

Stagecoach Vineyard Malbec is bright, meaty, blood-iron aromas and black cherry emanate from the glass. Dark chocolate melts into a café latte.

The 2014 Proprietary Red exhibits plenty of chocolate, crème de cassis, soft tannins, low acidity and a dense ruby/purple color in a medium-bodied, elegant, fleshy style. Drink it over the next 15-20 years.

2014 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is a delicious, juicy wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. Black cherry, plum, mocha, cloves, new leather and cedar give the 2014 much of its succulent, inviting personality. This is an especially bold, racy style, but it works. Drink 2017-2026.

This is a classic Coombsville Cabernet built on minerality, energy and cool, soil-driven tension. I would give the 2014 a few years in bottle to soften, but it is quite impressive, even at this early stage. The 2014 is a wine of real depth, gravitas and pedigree.

The sensational 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford comes from clone 4 and the old Georges III Vineyard now owned by Beckstoffer. (This was once a valuable component part of the famous BV Private Reserve Cabernets.) This is a floral, earthy wine with a dense purple color and a big, sweet, complex nose that follows through on the palate with loads of kirsch liqueur, blackcurrants, dusty soil undertones, some cedar wood and spicy oak. Opaque purple, full-bodied, and generously endowed, it can be drunk over the next 15-20 years.

The 2014 Malbec, from Stagecoach, is superb. Boisterous, exuberant and flamboyant to the core, the Malbec hits the palate with serious fruit intensity. Scents of rose petal, lavender, sweet spice and new French oak are front and center, with more mineral and savory notes develop with time in the glass. This is an especially opulent style with tons of near and medium term appeal. Drink 2016-2022.

A blend of our Rutherford and Coombsville Vineyards. The wine shows an ultra-deep garnet color in the glass with an expressive nose. The lush palate offers a generous mélange of rich black fruit and mocha, gently interlaced with smooth tannins.
A deep, intensely mineral wine, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon (Coombsville) offers up a compelling melange of grilled herbs, smoke, black cherry jam and sweet spices. The interplay of savory and more opulent, fruit-driven notes is compelling. There is so much to like here. Drink 2017-2028.

Big and powerful, driven by an extracted core of gutsy blackberry, cedary oak, dried herb and anise notes, ending with a full-fisted mix of tannins and earth elements. Drink now through 2030.
