The sensational 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford comes from clone 4 and the old Georges III Vineyard now owned by Beckstoffer. (This was once a valuable component part of the famous BV Private Reserve Cabernets.) This is a floral, earthy wine with a dense purple color and a big, sweet, complex nose that follows through on the palate with loads of kirsch liqueur, blackcurrants, dusty soil undertones, some cedar wood and spicy oak. Opaque purple, full-bodied, and generously endowed, it can be drunk over the next 15-20 years.

The 2014 Malbec, from Stagecoach, is superb. Boisterous, exuberant and flamboyant to the core, the Malbec hits the palate with serious fruit intensity. Scents of rose petal, lavender, sweet spice and new French oak are front and center, with more mineral and savory notes develop with time in the glass. This is an especially opulent style with tons of near and medium term appeal. Drink 2016-2022.

A blend of our Rutherford and Coombsville Vineyards. The wine shows an ultra-deep garnet color in the glass with an expressive nose. The lush palate offers a generous mélange of rich black fruit and mocha, gently interlaced with smooth tannins.
Big and powerful, driven by an extracted core of gutsy blackberry, cedary oak, dried herb and anise notes, ending with a full-fisted mix of tannins and earth elements. Drink now through 2030.

Inky, blue-black in the glass with bluebell floral aromas, this wine delights the palate with layered flavors of deep black cherry and coffee bean. Lush, polished tannins round out the long finish.
Our tribute to classic Right Bank Bordeaux-style red wines. Merlot and Petit Verdot make up the majority of the 2013 offering, which gives the wine its rich dark color, floral notes and polished tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon was added for structure and a velvety mouth-feel. Malbec adds dark fruit flavors and fills out the mid-palate.
